Data we process

Mushroom Hunter processes account details you provide, photos submitted for identification, observation notes, location and altitude when you enable those features, device and store purchase identifiers needed for verification, and limited technical logs needed for security and reliability.

Why we use it

We use data to provide identification, maps, weather, a private journal, account access, purchase verification, fraud prevention, support, and service improvement. Precise location is used only when a feature requires it and you grant permission.

Sharing and processors

Necessary data may be processed by hosting, AI, mapping, weather, Apple App Store, Google Play, and security providers. We do not sell personal data. Public sharing happens only when you choose it; exact coordinates are hidden by default.

Retention and control

You can delete observations and request account deletion. Records required for payment, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or security may be retained for the applicable period. Contact privacy@mushroomhunter.eu for access, correction, deletion, or objection requests.

Children and safety

The service is not designed to replace adult supervision, a mycologist, or medical advice. Do not submit unnecessary personal information in notes or photographs.
